Lightspeed POS Setup and Configuration

Lightspeed POS Setup and Configuration

Lightspeed (Series O) can integrate into Voicee in the following ways:
  1. Sync Customers to Voicee Customers automatically
    1. Both when a Customer is Created on Voicee or on Lightspeed
    2. Automatically sync information between platforms (Name, Email, Address and Subscribes to Marketing Toggle)
  2. If configured on your Call Flow, you can create orders with the customer automatically attached
  3. Notify you of the incoming call on Lightspeed using a Notification Banner

Connect Lightspeed to Voicee

The first step is to go into Settings -> Integration and click Connect next to Lightspeed.

You will be redirected to Log into your Lightspeed Company.

Configure POS Notification Settings Per Site

1. Navigate back to your Sites
2. You should now see a POS section on your Site Profile. Click Complete POS integration.
3. Select the Site you wish to integrate with on Lightspeed
4. You should see a list of all your Lightspeed Sites in this dropdown, if you cannot find the right site, please contact support.
5. If connected successfully, you should see your Lightspeed site name in green. Click it to expand Lightspeed settings
6. From here, you can check to see if your integration is online and connected. You can also change the site by clicking Change Site.
Lets modify the Notification settings by clicking on the Default button.
Note, that if the Default button is set, the Notifications settings are set to default:
Notifications will appear for 10 seconds
All POS Terminals will receive the notification banner when a new order/find order call flow is triggered.
7. To modify the time the notification banner appears, you can change the Visibility Timeout.
Make this number longer if you wish for the banner to sit on your screen for longer.
8. Here is an example notification banner on the POS when setup on the Call Flow, or by default as part of the Starter plan.
9. If you'd like to Modify which POS terminals recieve the banner, you can toggle the Register Routing from All to Custom.
10. You'll now be presented with a list of devices you have on Voicee that you can map to your Registers.
If your call flow triggers a call on a Voicee device, you can map 1 corresponding POS terminal with this device.
11. In the screenshot example, any call that goes to the Voicee device "POS" will be notified to POS-1 on Lightspeed
12. And the same can be done to the Voicee device with alias "POS-2" - this can notify the terminal named "POS-2" when a call triggers that Voicee device.
Your device names will be different depending on how you've setup your Voicee account and Lightspeed settings.
In this example
  1. When a call comes in and it triggers the Voicee Device [POS], it will Notify the Lightspeed Terminal POS-1
  2. When a call comes in and it triggers the Voicee Device [POS-2] it will Notify the Lightspeed Terminal POS-2
  3. When a call comes in that triggers both Voicee Device [POS], and [POS-2], both Lightspeed Terminals POS-1 and POS-2 will be notified.
  4. When a call rings 204, no notification banner will appear

Notes
Note: Voicee will still create an order with the customer linked in the background, even if you have Notifications switched off. The only difference is the green bar will not appear at the top of the POS.

Be sure to Save your settings once you're happy with your Mapping!

That's it! You can now test your call flows to ensure you are getting the right notification mapping.
