Setting up Zero Touch Provisioning - Yealink
This guide will help you setup Zero Touch Provisioning with your Yealink Phones.
What is Zero Touch Provisioning
Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) simplifies the deployment of Yealink devices by automating the configuration process.
Upon initial startup, the device connects to the internet and automatically requests its configuration from a centralised server.
Once configured in the Voicee platform, we work directly with Yealink to generate the necessary configuration file, ensuring a seamless and efficient setup without manual intervention.
Steps to Setting up Zero Provisioning on Voicee
1. Click into a Site or Create one
2. Find the device you'd like to provision and click the Pencil icon
Note: If you cannot see the pencil icon, you do not have enough permissions on the site. Speak to your site administrator.
3. Enter your MAC Address. The Mac Address can be found on the back of the device or on the base station
4. Once your MAC is entered, select the Hardware manufacturer. At the time of writing the only compatible Zero Touch provisioned devices are Yealink
5. Select your Device Manufacterer
6. If eligible, you will see the ability to Switch on Yealink Provisioning.
Why can't I see the register button? If this is not visible, it may mean that this MAC is already registered to another company on Yealink's servers, or the MAC is invalid. Reach out to support for more information
7. Reboot your Yealink phone (or Factory reset it if it has already been configured). Note that once your Autoprovision is complete the default Admin username/password will be replaced with a unique one automatically, this can be found under the Advanced Configuration. Additionally other changes can be made by using the Advanced Config feature.
