Caller ID into Phonebook Integration

Caller ID into Phonebook Integration

Feature Overview

A Phonebook can be loaded and updated automatically on supporting phones.
This feature will allow your phone to display your known customer's name when they call in.

You will need 5 minutes and access to the Phone's admin panel (you'll need an iPad or computer that's on the same network as your phone).
  1. Create a Phonebook on Voicee
  2. Copy the Phonebook URL
  3. Log into your Yealink Phone's Admin Panel
  4. Set the Phonebook + Test

Create a Phonebook on Voicee

Goto the caller ID settings on your Voicee Dashboard: https://dashboard.voicee.com.au/#/settings/callerID
Next to the Yealink Phonebook click create

Do not share this link with anyone as it contains a list of your customers and their numbers in plain format. Do not publish this link anywhere and if compromised it is recommended you delete the list and generate a new one (which will generate a new list ID)

2. Copy the URL

Refresh the page until you see the notice removed. This may take about to 5 minutes depending on the list of customers
Click Copy next to the URL

Note: Only the top 10,000 Contacts are synced with your phonebook. Contacts are ordered by the number of incoming phone calls, the more commonly the customer makes calls to your sites, the higher they are on the contact list.

Navigate to your Yealink Admin Panel. Click here to learn more about how to Log into the Yealink Admin Portal. Login using your device's password.
You will need to do this for all devices at your location.

Set the Phonebook + Test

Directory > Remote Phone Book
Add the Copied URL into Remote URL next to Index 1, Set the Display Name as Voicee
Enable the Incoming/Outgoing Call Lookup
Click Confirm

Test by calling your Voicee connected phone, if you are a registered contact on your company, you should see your name appear on the phone's display.
